On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, Restore or Retreat joined in a Danos led event along with partners from Natrx | Adaptive Infrastructure, Shell and the South Lafourche Levee District for a vegetation planting day at Second Turn in Golden Meadow—part of an innovative approach to strengthening levee protection and coastal resilience.
This project combines hands-on restoration with forward-thinking solutions, including the installation of LeveeGuard™ ExoForms (Cajun Coral)—modular structures designed to reduce erosion, support habitat growth and deliver long-term performance.
